Open to all male golfers, aged 25 years and older as of December 31, 2008 and with a current certified RCGA Handicap Index as of Sept 2nd, 2008 and a member of an affiliated TBDGA club.

The lowest 18 hole score (or determined by playoff) will receive exemption into the 2008 Ontario Men's Mid-Amateur Championship (site and location to be determined). Expenses for travel, accommodation and food will be reimbursed by the Thunder Bay District Golf Association (some restrictions apply). 

TBDGA Tournament Regulations

1.     Use official entry form available on our TBDGA website.
2.     Entry form must be completed with name, address, GAO number, index, event name & date.
3.     Entries with credit card must be made online. (www.tbdga.com) Mail-in entry with applicable  entry payment
       (cheque or money order ONLY – NO CASH) to TBDGA. 
4.     It is the responsibility of the contestant to get his entry form in on time. There will be no post entries allowed.
5.     All contestants must have a handicap index certified within 15 days of the tournament being played.
6.     Contestants may use automotive transportation, subject to tournament venue approval.
7.     No shows will be denied the privilege of playing in the following years tournament.
8.     Local rules will be published for each TBDGA tournament. It is the responsibility of the contestant to be
       acquainted with local and RCGA rules .
9.     Only golf equipment on the RCGA approved list may be used in TBDGA events.
10.   No refunds after closing date.
11.   Any late entry, if accepted, is subject to a $25.00 per player charge.

Policy of Gambling: The TBDGA is opposed to and urges its member clubs to prohibit gambling such as Calcutta’s, other auction pools, pari-mutuels and other forms of gambling organized for general participation or permitting to bet on someone other than themselves or for their teams.
