The TBDGA Launches its New Website

The Thunder Bay District Golf Association (TBDGA) is thrilled to announce the launch of its new website at www.tbdga.com.

The TBDGA chose to undergo this renovation in order to improve its profile and to create a more user-friendly product. The need for a modern and more professional website was long overdue.

This new website allows the TBDGA to highlight our sponsors, partners, tournaments, and history like never before. Some of the website's new features include tabs to:

  • The Thunder Bay District Golf Hall of Fame, where the public may learn more about our inductees and the process for making new nominations.
  • Recent News. Here, the TBDGA will share exciting announcements and summaries of its tournaments.
  • Junior Golf. The TBDGA remains dedicated to its junior players. Under this new tab, the TBDGA will recognize and link to various junior golf initiatives across the Thunder Bay District.
  • Tournaments. Here, competitors can register for TBDGA-run events, review archived results, learn about club-run events across the Thunder Bay District, link to provincial and national championships, and browse a list of our past TBDGA champions.

These features, along with various others, create a single platform for golf-related topics in the Thunder Bay District.

President Andy Karanasos stated, "A new website was overdue. This improved design is more organized and easier to navigate. Visitors to the website will enjoy this new creation, and they should find that it reflects our new philosophy moving forward."

Director Jeremy Kirk added, "We hope that this new website will attract more people to golf in the Thunder Bay District. It was designed not just for the competitive player, but for the TBDGA's sponsors, partners, and member clubs, for beginner golfers, parents of young golfers, and sports historians."

The TBDGA encourages you to visit its new website to learn more.
