The First Tee Arrives in Thunder Bay

The First Tee has found a new home in Thunder Bay!

The TBDGA is pleased to share that Whitewater Golf Club, Sue Cassan, and Chris Gardner have been selected to host the First Tee - Ontario and the RBC Junior Golf Community Program.

Whitewater Golf Club is one of the first golf courses in Ontario to receive the honour of hosting this distinguished junior program.

Earlier this week, Sue and Chris travelled to Brantford, ON to receive special First Tee training at the Walter Gretzky Municipal Golf Course. Sue is the President-Elect of Golf Manitoba, and Chris is a PGA of Canada Professional and the TBDGA's Junior Leader. We are grateful for their dedication to grow the game in the Thunder Bay District.

This initiative will provide a welcoming and cost-effective environment for kids to learn golf and its associated life skills, such as integrity, respect, and perseverance.
